EMPLOYEE APP · INCLUDED WITH PAYROLL & HR

Your staff get an app.
You get your evenings back.

Payslips, leave, clock in/out and expense claims — on your employees' phones. You approve in one tap, and it all flows straight into CPF payroll. No more leave forms, no more "can I claim this?" WhatsApps, no more "what time did you come in?"

Email optional. Snapbook creates a login with a temporary password. Nothing is emailed.

WHAT YOUR STAFF CAN DO

Four things they used to WhatsApp you about.

Each one lands in a tidy inbox on your side, with the context you need to say yes in one tap.

LEAVE
Apply on the phone. Approve in one tap.
Type, dates, half-day, reason, MC photo. The app checks the balance and blocks overlaps before it reaches you. You see "9 of 14 left → 7 after this" next to every request. Approved leave lands in the ledger; unpaid leave is deducted in that month's payroll automatically.

ATTENDANCE
Clock in, clock out. Hours flow to payroll.
One big button. Optional workplace location check (they must be within, say, 200 m of the shop) and optional selfie — both off by default. Late minutes and overtime are worked out from each person's shift. Forgot to clock? They request a correction; you apply it.

CLAIMS
Snap the receipt. Magic Scan reads it.
Amount, merchant, date, GST and category filled in for them. You approve (or trim the amount), and it's added to their next payslip as a reimbursement — paid with salary, not subject to CPF — and posted to your P&L in the right category. Paid them by cash instead? Mark it paid directly.

PAYSLIPS & ME
Payslips on the phone. Bank details they keep current.
Every finalised run appears as a payslip they can open and download — the same PDF you see. They keep their own contact, address and bank account details up to date, so you stop being the person who types those in.

WHY IT MATTERS

Everything ends up in the payroll run. Automatically.

Open the month's payroll and it's already half done — you review, adjust if needed, finalise. Nothing gets copied twice.

DOCUMENTS & ONBOARDING

Contracts, KETs, work passes — and a reminder before they expire.

GENERATE
Employment Contract & Key Employment Terms in one click
MOM requires written KETs for anyone employed 14 days or more. Snapbook fills them from the payroll record — salary, hours, leave, notice period — and gives you a PDF for the employee and a Word file to edit.
KEEP & REMIND
Work passes and certificates on file, with expiry alerts
Upload the pass, set the expiry, choose how many days' warning. Reminders show in HR, on your Compliance timeline, and as a badge in the sidebar. An offboarding checklist covers unused leave, final pay, IR21 and IR8A when someone leaves.

COMMON QUESTIONS

Frequently asked questions

No. You create their login from Payroll → Employees and send it over WhatsApp in one tap. If they have no email, Snapbook makes a login ID from their phone number. If they already have a Snapbook account (say they run their own side business), that account is simply linked and they switch roles from the top-right menu.
No. It's included in Payroll & HR — free for 1 full-time and 1 part-time employee, then a flat S$10/month for the whole team. Employee logins are unlimited.
No. An employee login only ever sees that person's own payslips, leave, attendance, claims and documents. Your business data and everyone else's records stay with you.
No download. It runs in the phone browser at snapbook.ai. Employees can "Add to Home Screen" so it opens full-screen like an app.
For part-timers, weekday, weekend and public-holiday hours are counted from clock records and pre-filled into the payroll run at their rates. For full-timers you've marked as overtime-eligible, overtime past shift end (after a minimum and rounding you set) is pre-filled. You can edit anything before finalising — the pre-fill is a head start, not a lock.
No — it's off by default. Turn it on in Attendance → Settings if you have a shop, café or clinic and want staff to clock in only when they're actually there. Selfies are also optional and off by default.
Small teams — comfortably up to about 20 employees. Nothing stops you adding more, but if you're bigger than that, talk to us about an Enterprise arrangement so we support you properly.
Yes. Every boss page has a "record it yourself" path — add a leave entry, record a claim as approved, add a day of attendance manually. The app just means you don't have to.
Stop being the HR department.
Give your staff the app; keep the approvals. Free for 1 FT + 1 PT, flat S$10/month for the whole team.
