Snap Pay
Your customer scans your PayNow QR. Snap Pay spots the money in your business account and confirms the booking, shop order or invoice for you. No card fees, and no checking your bank app.
Built for small businesses in Singapore. Included with every paid plan, free for now.1
From scan to confirmed, with nobody opening a banking app.4
Give Snap Pay a read-only key to your business account. A step-by-step guide walks you through it in about five minutes.3
They scan your PayNow QR. The amount and a unique reference are locked in, so they cannot be typed wrong.
It looks for a payment carrying that exact reference and that exact amount, to the cent. Nothing else counts.
The booking, order or invoice is confirmed, the customer is emailed, and the sale lands in your P&L.
No fee came off the S$80. PayNow goes straight from your customer’s bank to yours. There is no card gateway in the middle taking a cut.
Nobody had to look. Not you, not your staff. The customer had their confirmation within a minute or two of paying.
A near miss is shown, never guessed. The right reference on the wrong amount is flagged for you to check, and never confirmed on its own.
How we compare
A card gateway confirms payments by itself too, and takes a percentage of every sale for doing it. Plain PayNow costs nothing, but somebody has to open the bank app and tick each one off.5
Price
Any paid plan turns Snap Pay on, including a trial. That is free for now; if PayNow or the bank changes its own rules or fees, the price may change, and we will tell you first.1
One setting for the whole business. Turn it on from any settings page and it is on everywhere.
Every payment it confirmed, with the bank’s own reference beside it.
Features
Ask for something and it gets built. Every account has a Feedback button that raises a real ticket, read by the person who writes the code. If it would help more than one Singapore business it goes into the module and lands in every account, usually by the next working day.
Bank with somebody we do not support yet? Tell us which. More business accounts are on the list, and the ones people ask for move up it.
Before you sign up, [email protected] reaches the same place.
From a customer
“An entry point for a small start-up, without being overwhelming.”
“Looking for an easy way to manage my small business, I came across Snapbook.AI. This solution has an entry point for a small start-up, not overwhelming, while having more sophisticated features for future scaled-up operations. Had a chance to speak to the founder Kevin and was greatly encouraged that he listens to his clients, big or small, and is always open to see how he can improve the client experience. Snapbook.AI not only provides a solution, but provides the relationship management as if you are a big corporate. Very glad to chance upon this software.”

Questions
Nothing extra. It is included with every paid Snapbook plan, from S$10 a month, and with trials. There is no fee on any payment. That is the price for now; if PayNow or the bank changes its own rules or fees, it may change, and we will tell you before it does.
A business account we support. Today that is one Singapore business account provider, and the setup screen names it and walks you through connecting it. More are on the list. If yours is not supported yet, tell us which bank, and you can still take PayNow and confirm payments yourself.
DBS, POSB, PayLah!, UOB, Citibank and most other Singapore banking apps. They scan your PayNow QR as they would anywhere else. A few payment apps cannot pay this kind of PayNow address yet; those customers can use another app, or pay another way and you confirm it yourself.
No. Snap Pay uses a read-only key that can only see transactions. It is stored encrypted, never shown again, and nothing in Snapbook can make a payment. You can turn Snap Pay off at any time.
It is not confirmed. Snap Pay only confirms a payment with the exact reference and the exact amount. The right reference on the wrong amount is shown to you as a near miss, so you can decide what to do.
Yes. It tells you straight away, and Snap Pay starts looking for the money at once, so most payments are confirmed within a minute or two.
You confirm payments yourself, exactly as before, and nothing already recorded is lost. Snap Pay depends on the bank’s own connection; we work hard to keep it running, but if the bank changes or stops it, Snap Pay pauses until it can be fixed.
The free plan gives you a PayNow QR with the amount locked, and customers can tap “I have paid”, but you confirm each payment yourself. Any paid plan, including a trial, turns Snap Pay on.
Take PayNow for your bookings, shop and invoices, and let Snap Pay tell you when the money is in.
